Our supplier B&C has now been certified by PETA. Here is the press release from our supplier verbatim:
For B&C, sustainability goes beyond the responsible use of resources. We want to ensure that our products are safe for you, for the employees, but also for the animals. That's why our clothing is PETA-certified.
VEGAN CLOTHING?
When people talk about vegan, most people think of food. The idea is that it is much more efficient to eat a plant-based diet than to feed plants to animals and then eat the meat. With a vegan diet, we can save energy, water and transport costs. Which is better for our planet. And of course, there is also an ethical reason: do we really want to contribute to the suffering or death of other living beings? At B&C, the answer is clearly no. For this reason, we asked the animal rights organization PETA to evaluate our supply chain. They have officially certified that no animals are harmed in the entire supply chain of our products. An additional guarantee for your or our conscious consumers.
WHO IS PETA?
PETA stands for "People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals". This UK-based foundation is dedicated to protecting animal rights. It fights against animal cruelty and promotes a meat-free and animal-friendly lifestyle. Part of its mission is to certify that products are free of animal products and animal cruelty. PETA is a well-known reference in the field of animal welfare and vegan products.
WHY IS B&C PETA CERTIFIED?
B&C clothing does not contain any animal components and will not do so in the future. It is that simple and efficient.
